ASTRO is Kaiser Permanente’s team focused on pushing the technological limits of our medical claims business processes and systems to reduce costs, improve quality, and improve the experience for our members, providers, and employees. Where others have said no, it can’t be done, our team is there to think critically and creatively about the problem to come to a solution. We lead projects and provide SME support to affiliated teams, often performing in depth analysis of claims data utilizing reports/tools such as Oracle SQL Server, Tableau, and PowerBI. We partner with business and technical teams on these projects and our ability to interface seamlessly with both is critical to our success. With the data and business knowledge to support our initiatives we then develop the configuration requirements for our Epic Tapestry platform, UiPath bots, and related systems.
