Job Summary:

In addition to the responsibilities listed below, this position is responsible for driving complex treasury projects requiring advanced knowledge of investment management principles, methods, and techniques, including proficiency in portfolio management, asset allocation, investment policy, performance measurement, investment risk management and liability management. This also includes leading financial analysis, modeling, and reporting efforts to support these projects as appropriate.

  • Conducts or oversees business-specific projects by applying deep expertise in subject area; promoting adherence to all procedures and policies; developing work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines; determining and carrying out processes and methodologies; coordinating and delegating resources to accomplish organizational goals; partnering internally and externally to make effective business decisions; solving complex problems; escalating issues or risks as appropriate; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and evaluating recommendations made by others.

  • Key responsibilities include performance analysis and reporting, risk management and rebalancing, technology and systems management, and day-to-day data management.  Develop and maintain reporting tools to synthesize data and deliver accurate, timely and actionable reports for the investment team and stakeholders.  Involves close collaboration with internal teams including investment and operations, as well as external service providers and investment partners.  Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends and technological advances.

  • Develop comprehensive analytics and reporting to support portfolio management and strategic decision-making within the investment team.  Develop risk models and frameworks to identify and manage portfolio risks.   Design and implement quantitative tools for portfolio construction and risk management to enhance investment processes and ensure data integrity.  Create tools to automate research and portfolio construction tasks.

  • Drives financial analyses and interprets results to understand and identify risks and opportunities by determining and communicating assumptions as appropriate; and developing/using financial models consistent with regulatory, statutory, and legal guidelines and requirements.

  • Manages projects or treasury components of larger cross-functional projects by identifying and managing stakeholder contacts; assembling teams based on project needs and team member strengths; developing, analyzing, and managing project plans; negotiating and managing project schedules and resource forecasts; and managing project financials and deliverables.

  • Drives compliance with regulatory, statutory, and legal controls by developing and coordinating policies and procedures to achieve compliance and control objectives (e.g., audit controls, financial commitments, etc.).

  • Manages vendor contracts and transactions ( risk systems, investment portfolios, etc.) by maintaining relationships with existing financial/business partners; negotiating and reviewing financial agreements in accordance with regulatory policies and guidelines; identifying and evaluating key performance indicators; and ensuring vendor performance meets established service level agreements.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Minimum six (6) years experience working with financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
  • Minimum two (2) years project management experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
  • Bachelors degree in finance or related field and Minimum eight (8) years experience in finance or a directly related field. Additional equivalent work experience in a directly related field may be substituted for the degree requirement.
