Job Summary:

To provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Urgent Care.

Essential Responsibilities:


  • Deliver competent urgent or emergent nursing care to a diverse patient population of all ages, acuities and conditions within the population served by the facility.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience


  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a registered nurse in an emergency room, urgent care, or acute care environment is required.

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
License, Certification, Registration
  • This job requires credentials from multiple states. Credentials from the primary work state are required before hire. Additional Credentials from the secondary work state(s) are required post hire.
  • Registered Nurse License (Virginia) within 6 months of hire AND Registered Nurse License (Maryland) within 6 months of hire
      OR
  • Compact License: Registered Nurse within 6 months of hire
  • Registered Nurse License (District of Columbia) within 6 months of hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 3 months of hire
  • Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 3 months of hire
Additional Requirements:

  • Proficient in use of applicable computer software required.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in IV therapy is preferred.
  • BSN is preferred.
