Working hard to fight fraud

There is a nationwide recruitment scam impacting Kaiser Permanente and other employers where individuals receive fraudulent employment-related offers in exchange for money or other sensitive personal information.

What is recruitment fraud

Recruitment fraud is a scam offering counterfeit job offers and other employment-related offerings to candidates – these communications are fraudulent and do not originate from Kaiser Permanente. They are intended to steal your personal information.

How can you recognize recruitment fraud?

  1. Be aware of any suspicious emails or communications from people claiming to be representatives of Kaiser Permanente. Often, the emails are poorly written and have numerous typos.
  2. Any email from us will be from an @kp.org email address. For example, Jane.X.Doe@kp.org.
  3. We will never ask for an exchange of money or request credit card information during our hiring process.
  4. We will never ask you to submit for a position via email – we only accept submissions via our Kaiser Permanente Careers website kp.org/careers.
  5. If you have questions about the legitimacy of an open position you were contacted about with Kaiser Permanente, use the job search window in the header of this page to find the role. If you are interested in the opportunity, click “Submit Interest” to begin the formal submission process.

What if you were a victim of recruitment fraud?

If you suspect you’ve been a victim of identity theft in connection with recruitment fraud, please contact your local law enforcement agency.
