This National Nurses Month, we’re pausing to reflect and give thanks to our nurses who continue to provide exceptional care throughout the pandemic. Our nurses faced mental and physical challenges and overcame increased pressures, burnout, and exhaustion.
Throughout it all, you persevered and showed everyone what it truly means to be a nurse. Kaiser Permanente recognizes and honors our 68,000 nurses who serve and lead with extraordinary compassion, integrity, trust, and collaboration while still pushing to do more.
Be the best nurse you can be
We are committed to improving and enriching their work environment and helping every nurse to excel and grow in their profession. Almost 900 nurses at Kaiser Permanente completed advanced nursing degrees and participated in the professional development programs at the Kaiser Permanente Nurse Scholars Academy, a program we founded in 2015.
